About the Conference

The Brain Function and Repair conference is a joint meeting between Brain and Mind Research in the Asia Pacific (BMAP) and Asia Pacific Symposium on Neuroregeneration (APSNR) organizations. The conference is hosted by the Institute of Medical Biology (A*STAR) and the National University of Singapore. The conference will take place in the Matrix, Biopolis, Singapore.

The overall goal of the conference is to promote brain research in its widest context in the Asia Pacific Region. The individual meetings will cover both academic and clinical approaches and aim to bring together communities of researchers interested in the neurosciences. Over 40 local and international speakers will present their latest findings under the following themes.

  Ageing and dementia
  Molecular basis of neural disorders
  Ion channels and receptors
Intersection of philosophy, psychology and neurology
Neural stem cells (joint session with APSNR)
Neural stem cells (joint session with BMAP)
  Neuron-glia interaction

Inflammatory and immunological responses in neuroregeneration
  Stroke: experimental and clinical advances
  Inhibitors of neuroregeneration
  Neurotrauma

We look forward to your participation in either/and or both events.
