About 2nd Symposium on BMAP

The goal of this symposium is to promote brain and mind research in the Asia Pacific Region. This symposium is under the auspices of the Association of Pacific Rim Universities (APRU). For more information on APRU, please refer to http://www.apru.org

There will be discussion on a wide range of issues on both the scientific and clinical sides. Distinguished local and international speakers have been invited to speak and they will give oral presentations of their recent works under the following themes:

1. Ageing and dementia
2. Molecular basis of neural disorders,
3. Ion channels and receptors
4. Intersection of philosophy, psychology and neurology
5. Neural stem cells (joint session with APSNR)
